ABOUT ERICA LEON
Erica Leon, MS, RD, CEDRD, is the owner of Erica Leon Nutrition, an outpatient group nutrition practice in White Plains, NY. With more than 30 years of experience, she and her team help individuals develop a positive relationship with food and work tirelessly to treat and prevent eating disorders and disordered eating in adults, adolescents, children and families.
Erica uses a “non-diet,” Health at Every Size ® approach to create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to explore their attitudes about food, weight and body image. She helps chronic dieters and those in recovery from eating disorders to discover natural, internal signals of hunger, fullness and satisfaction. She also believes in the joy of movement , which encourages physical activities for the associated pleasure and health benefits, rather than following a specific routine of regimented exercise for the primary purpose of weight-loss.
Erica’s practice offers a wide variety of services including individual and group counseling sessions, cooking programs and in-person and online intuitive eating and nutrition workshops. Her current online intuitive eating program is called Intuitive Eating Essentials.
