Meet your hosts...
Hi, I'm Jennifer McGurk! I’m a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian, as well as a clinical supervisor and business coach for other dietitians.
When I started my private practice, there were no simple resources. There was no roadmap of what to do. I spent hours on Google, I read business books, and I talked to a few close mentors. When I was finally “ready” to open, I pushed it back for another FULL YEAR because I couldn't settle on a “perfect" business name. Was it really about the name? No. Was it anxiety and fear? Yes!
Fast forward to today... I've been in private practice for almost 10 years. Getting to make an impact with the clients who I can help the most is the best part about private practice. But there's more… flexibility over my schedule, control over the work that I do, and finally making the money that I deserve is pretty amazing.

My private practice has been so successful that I've been able to hire other dietitians and build a group private practice, create an online course, start a podcast, and speak at conferences. At the same time, I’ve learned how to set boundaries and create a work/life balance so I can be a present mom to my 3 little kids.
I believe that if you have the passion and drive to help your clients, you can learn the business skills. And I can teach them to you!
