Thriving in Uncertainty
The inspiration that you need to support your private practice, your clients, and yourself in this uncertain time.
Right now the world is frozen.
The recent COVID-19 crisis has hit all of us hard and we're dealing with many new challenges because of it: transitioning to virtual practice, clients canceling appointments, changes in nutrition counseling strategy, and feeling the effects of anxiety, trauma, and a negative mindset.
The crisis is affecting both our clients and us, the professionals who provide counseling.
When collective minds get together,
amazing things happen.
I recently did a support group call with the Pursuing Private Practice for Intuitive Eating program and I recorded it to share with you! It is full of inspiration and tips for resiliency. We talk about:
I know how it feels...
I lead a team of dietitians at my own group private practice Eat With Knowledge. I knew I needed to think outside the box to figure out what will work for my business now, so we moved our entire private practice to virtual counseling and are working out the issues.
I'm scared and overwhelmed, but I'm choosing to keep moving instead of staying stuck. I also have my two kids at home with me now...Life is not easy right now! I don't have all the answers, but I do know I always have better solutions when I talk with others, take time to process, and make a plan.
This has been a huge transition, but I'm choosing to move forward with a positive attitude as best as I can.
I want to invite you to do the same.
