Here in New York, the crisis is top of mind. Our personal and professional lives are being affected in so many ways and it’s not going away any time soon.
I’ve learned so many lessons over the past few weeks, which I will continue to talk about on social media.
The most important reminder for me is the power of community during a crisis like this.
I don’t know where I would be without Zoom and Facetime (thank you technology!), setting up “dates” with my friends and family, the ability to see my clients virtually, and also leaning on others for support right now.
I recently did a training for my Pursuing Private Practice program and recorded it for all of you to turn it into a mini course. I like to think of this hour as the inspiration that you need to support your private practice, your clients, and yourself right now. You can sign up to watch it for free.
We talk about the new logistics of virtual private practice, supporting clients through trauma, self-care for yourself, and so much more. It’s also an inside look at what it’s like to work with a community of amazing professionals. Another lesson that I’ve learned is that there is so much compassion out in the world and people really do support one another in a time of need.
Offering this mini course to you is my way to be helpful! I’m also going to add more trainings throughout the month of April with audio guides and more resources for private practice. When you sign up, you will also receive an invitation to join me for a support group call in April as well (April 30th). The details are in the course. Get all of this support here!
